Meet Crochet & Cross-Stitch designer, Chrissy Habblett
Raised in an artsy family in the foothills of Northern California, Chrissy Habblett has been crafting since she was old enough to hold a needle. After rediscovering her love of crochet and cross-stitch as an adult, Chrissy established Handmade with Chrissy (formerly TurtleBunny Creations) and her designs have been featured in multiple magazines, art shows, and books.

I’m a crocheter, cross-stitcher, wannabe-knitter and all around artser & craftser.
I’m also a daughter, sister, aunt, book lover, rom com fiend, word game wizard, inspirational quote hoarder, and so much more!

I owe my creativity to the most talented parents you could ever ask for. There isn’t an art or craft I didn’t have access to as a child: sewing, macrame, sculpting, embroidery, painting, woodworking…you name it.
That’s probably why I get so excited when I meet other crafters. Kids, beginners, professionals, I love them all. I want to learn, I want to teach, I want to share!
I aim to create and encourage others to create!
