I’ve made some slow progress on this one…and now I I’ve made some slow progress on this one…and now I think I’m going to rip it out. 😅🤦‍♀️😭 Either the software mock-ups have become less reliable or my designs have been more in need of color accuracy lately, but hopefully one of these days I’ll learn to trust my instincts BEFORE test stitching. I don’t want these stitches to jump off the background, but I’m thinking there wont be any contrast at all with this color. 🤔 It’s fun to play with the waste canvas but it sure makes it hard to confirm what the colors will look like once it’s gone! It seems I’m not the only one in a stitching funk It seems I’m not the only one in a stitching funk right now, so maybe I can inspire my fellow cross-stitchers with something a little different. 🪡 💕 Introducing my new “Flowers in Stitches” counted thread embroidery sampler, now available in the current Spring issue of @justcrossstitch! This design was so fun to stitch, with just enough standard counted cross stitch to keep your confidence up while teaching you 15 (if I remember right) classic embroidery stitches right there on your familiar Aida cloth. I have officially finished making Christmas gifts I have officially finished making Christmas gifts (for this year 😜)!! 🥳 Now I can get back to restful pleasure stitching for myself.
